Having an attractive website goes a long way to establishing your credibility and professionalism to potential clients. You may wish to change the size or color of certain text to emphasize particular things, or maybe you prefer to have all text centered. Following are step-by-step instructions to change the font size, color, highlight color, and alignment. Just remember not to go too crazy -- a simple, clean site is always better than a bunch of different colors and sizes!
To start, go to the site builder, click Pages, and select the page you wish to edit (Home, About, etc.).
To change the font color, highlight the text you wish to change and click the underlined A. When you’re done, make sure you click the green Update button at the bottom.
To highlight text in a certain color, click the A in a box just to the right of the underlined A, and pick the color you want. Again, when you’re done, make sure you click the green Update button at the bottom.
To center text, justify it (so it is stretched evenly from left to right), or align it to the right or left (left is default), first highlight the text and then click the button with the three horizontal lines. Note that you will need to highlight each paragraph separately to change its alignment. Remember to click the green Update button at the bottom when you’re done.
To change the font size, highlight the text you wish to change and click the paragraph symbol. You can then select from various text sizes -- Header 1 is the largest, and the sizes get smaller as the numbers get bigger. Select Paragraph to use the normal font size. When you’re done, make sure you click the green Update button at the bottom.
